Latio in Cologne

One of the best restaurants in the south of Cologne. Very good food and very good wines at fair prices. The owners and staff are very friendly. There are always special dishes from the menu of the day. We have tried everything by now, be it a starter, main course or dessert. Everything is recommended here. Special requests are always catered for.

Today we went to this restaurant with the family again and were impressed by the extraordinary offer (outside the menu). Although it took a little longer today, the great dishes in taste and preparation more than convinced us. Conclusion: great kitchen, friendly staff. Five thumbs up. I can only recommend this restaurant.

The food is ok, the service is nice, but sitting at the end of the room, I had the impression that I was smoking cigarette after cigarette, so was the feeling of the guests sitting in the beer garden.

The truffle pasta was unfortunately totally tasteless. Had to be seasoned with lots of salt and pepper. The actual truffle taste didn't come out at all. Service okay. Wouldn't come back again.

Very nice restaurant with outside catering. Although it is located directly on the foothill road, you sit very well behind the well-tended hedge. The service is very friendly and attentive and, of course, is happy to respond to customer requests. The wines are good, even if in my opinion a tad too expensive in terms of the price per glass. The menu offers something for every budget, the lunch menu, mostly 3 courses, is very affordable. Overall, the kitchen convinces with a solid and stable good performance. The implementation of the hygiene measures currently required is exemplary and unobtrusive. An absolute recommendation for an enjoyable evening or lunch on the outskirts of Cologne's Südstadt!

Nice selection of different dishes, daily menu and a la carte. Pizza dough is very good, the beef fillet was divine, perfectly prepared with crunchy vegetables, delicious sauce and delicious potato gratin. Attentive, courteous and quick service. Recommended.

No kidding, thought this was a joke when I got my "fish table" for almost 20€. Had two potatoes of which one was not done. Vegetables tasted like from the microwave. Worst was the fish: Tasted like low-budget frozen food from the supermarket. It was mushy and wet. I dont know if the cook was on sick-leave. But I do not agree to the reviews written here. I am really not a high-class eater but I really did not liked it. Sorry.

Very nice restaurant with a pleasant outside terrace that is close to the street, which thanks to a glass wall doesn't bother us. I particularly liked that the restaurant has its own parking spaces. The welcome was very friendly and quick. The menu itself looks good, but we opted for the latest dishes from the mobile menu. The pasta dishes were delicious. It's a shame that we weren't asked for desert or coffee after the main course. But I will definitely come back again.

While working on the project in Cologne, we never miss an oportunity to step by and eat something delicious here. With the glass of Primitivo red wine, there is not better end of a working day at the bussiness trip.
